"Oregon is an Eat Fresh Place"

"Oregon born Reed Anderson showed he still has the pioneering spirit, when he built a new USDA processing facility on his own ranch so he could control the quality of the lamb he sells. Faced with a decision to quit focusing on meat or build his own processing plant, Anderson chose to build. The 15,000 square foot facility (including holding pens) is built like the largest of plants but in a small way. Its can hold 500 lambs or 70 grass fed beef cattle, and process up to 300 animals a day."

About Us

We built our facility and began operations in 2013, after using other processing facilities for five generations. We are already known to many ranchers in Oregon and other states, and may the only one that has their own processing facility. For those who do not know us you can read more about us below.

Reed Anderson's grandfather and great grandfather operated a processing plant in the 1940's and 1950's. They shut it down because of the consolidation of large processing plants.

Our largest processing customer is our other business, Anderson Ranches Grass Fed Lamb. We decided to build our own processing facility to have more control over all aspects of the operation, to ensure the highest quality product for our customers.
